Bring It On, 2010!

So, I realize I'm 17 days late in wishing everyone a Happy New Year, but it's been a mixture of dry spells in activity and super busy, no time to write on the blog days. So, better late than never... Happy 2010! I'm looking forward to a great new year! Here are a handful of things happening here:

1. We had snow for the 3rd time in December, I think on the 29th or 30th (I've already forgotten). It was gone by morning, but Lawson and I enjoyed a nice walk through the winter wonderland. It was only dusk when we went outside, but I guess the camera thought it was the middle of the night...

2. Brad came for a visit and we took Lawson out to the Fort Worth Stockyards to walk around. I was so impressed Lawson was brave enough to sit up on this longhorn all by himself! He loved the "cow".

3. My parents and I took Lawson over to Northpark Mall to see their train display. Lawson was a little overstimulated and wasn't very interested in getting his picture taken, so this is the best we have. I was so amazed at the attention to detail... Each area was a model of a U.S. city - it was SO cool!

4. Lawson and I spent the whole first week of the new year with stomach bugs. It was nasty business around here. Yuck! No pictures of that, but it sure did eat up several days. Last week was just super busy at work. I think life should be slowing down a bit for the next couple of weeks, which will be nice.

5. I WILL do my best to update the blog more often. I'm sure we'll have plenty more adventures to share soon enough.
