Sesame Street Live

This morning I took Lawson to go see Sesame Street Live.  I wasn't sure how he'd like it since he's not big on noise and commotion so I was a little worried going in.  We talked lots about the show and how fun it would be and he was so good going into the venue.  We got in our seats and the poor kid folded right up!  I guess 30 pounds isn't enough to hold those flip-seats down.  That's lovely I had to pay full price for his ticket, but had to hold him in my lap the whole show...

When the house lights went out and the stage lights came on, along with blaring music, Lawson freaked out a little.  He threw himself into me, covering his ears and eyes, proclaiming loudly "I don't like it!".  But once the show got going, he was so into it. He loved all the characters and the songs and stuff.  I wasn't sure I was going to be able to drag him out of there - he didn't want to go home.  I'm so glad he enjoyed it.  We had such a fun time together!  But, I ran out of the house so fast this morning, I forgot my camera, so those are memories we'll keep in our hearts - sorry we can't share them with y'all.
