Well, Mom and Dad just left this morning. They came in on Thursday and we had a great weekend hanging out and seeing the town. I worked my butt off trying to get the house ready for their arrival and it really paid off. It's not completely done, but it's done enough that I feel I can take a break from it for a while. I've got some small projects here and there, but no more creating rooms start to finish. Every bit of my free time has been taken up with house stuff - now I can read a book or get back in touch with all the friends I've been neglectful to. Sorry guys....

In other news, this morning I bought our plane tickets to.......London. After 3 months of crazy schemes and fantastical vacation plans, we settled on a tour of the UK. We're going to rent a car and drive around England, Wales, and Scotland, staying in Bed and Breakfasts. I've been a couple of times, but there's still so much I haven't seen and it's still hands-down, my favorite place in the world. Brad's never been, so it'll all be a new experience for him. It's not as exotic as we had originally planned, but it's a heckuva lot cheaper than Australia, South Africa and even some of Eastern Europe. I'm thrilled, because any reason to go to the UK is a good one in my opinion! We haven't decided on the exact itinerary just yet, but that'll come. For now, we're just glad we have our tickets to get there. Woo hoo!
